 Boiling water2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Bran2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Buttermilk2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Honey1/2 Cup (16 tbs), melted
 Eggs2 , beaten
 Whole wheat flour2 1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Jerusalem artichoke1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Flaxseed1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Baking soda2 1/2 Teaspoon
 Salt1 1/2 Teaspoon
 Raisins1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Pour boiling water over bran.
To this add buttermilk, honey and eggs.
Mix well.
Mix together flours, flaxseed, soda and salt.
Add liquid ingredients to dry and mix until blended.
Batter should not be too stiff.
Stir in raisins.
Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 20-30 minutes.
