Hearty Macaroni Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Elbow macaroni | 1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| Cooked ham - 3/4 pound , cut into 1-inch strips | ||
| Sharp cheddar cheese | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Celery | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Sweet pickle - 1/2 cup, chopped | ||
| Commercial sour cream - 1/2 cup | ||
| Prepared mustard | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Celery leaves | 4 | |
Directions
MAKING
1 As per the package directions, cook the macaroni.
2 Drain well.
3 Thoroughly rinse with cold water.
4 Drain well.
5 In a bowl, mix macaroni with the next 7 ingredients.
6 Toss gently.
7 Cover and place in the refrigerator.
SERVING
8 Serve chilled, garnished with celery leaves (optional)
