Hearty Italian Chili Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 1 pound | |
| Bulk italian sausage | 1/2 pound | |
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Green pepper | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1 can or jar (26-1/2 to 30 ounces) spaghetti sauce | ||
| Kidney beans | 1 Can (10oz), drained, rinsed | |
| Diced tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz), undrained | |
| 1 jar (4-1/2 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained | ||
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sliced pepperoni | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), halved | |
| Chili powder | 5 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Pinch | |
Directions
In a 3-qt.saucepan, brown beef, sausage, onion and green pepper; drain.
Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
