Healthy Heart Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
1 large red bell pepper, chopped
1 large yellow bell pepper, chopped
1 large green bell pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 (7 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
3 fresh tomatoes,chopped, or 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
16 ounces pasta
Directions
Saute the bell peppers, onion, mushrooms and garlic in the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat for 10 to 30 minutes.
Stir in the tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper.
Cook until heated through.
Prepare the pasta using the package directions.
Combine the hot pasta and hot tomato mixture; toss and serve.
