Ingredients

 
chickpeas
 
baking powder
 
16 garlic cloves, crushed
 
salt
 
fresh lemon juice from 3 lemons
 
tahini

Directions

Soak the chickpeas overnight by adding baking powder. Next day cook the chickpeas for about 45mins, until they are soft. Crush the chickpeas in a crusher or mixer. In a separate bowl, put the garlic,salt,lemon juice and tahini.Put the crushed chickpeas in this bowl and mix well. You may add little water. Drizzle olive oil on top and garnish with fresh parsley and fresh chickpeas. Serve with pita bread.
