Hazelnut And Chocolate Gateau Recipe
Ingredients
| Milk chocolate | 3 1/2 Ounce | |
| Apricot preserve | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |

| Hazelnuts | 3 Ounce | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Ounce | |
| Creme fraiche | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter, for greasing | ||
| Semi-sweet chocolate | 3 1/2 Ounce | |
| 3 tbsp creme de cacao liqueur | ||
Directions
Break the milk chocolate into pieces and put in a small bowl with 2 (1) tablespoons of water.
Melt in the microwave oven for 1 minute on HIGH.
Put the apricot preserve, eggs, ground hazelnuts and cornstarch (cornflour) into the goblet of a food processor.
Puree until the mixture is smooth.
Pour over the melted chocolate, add the sour cream (creme fraiche) and mix thoroughly.
Grease a souffle mold (mould) 7 inches (18 cm) in diameter and pour in the mixture.
Micro wave, uncovered, on HIGH for 12 minutes.
Leave the gateau to stand for 10 minutes.
Turn out on to a wire rack and leave to cool.
Prepare the frosting (icing).
