Hawaiian French Toast Recipe

Ingredients
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, beaten
8 slices bacon, cooked and set aside
6 to 8 slices bread (day old is better)
Drained pineapple slices
Directions
Combine eggs, pineapple juice, and salt.
This will be the liquid in which you soak each piece of bread.
Cook bacon crisp in medium skillet, drain it, and set aside, reserving fat.
Soak each piece of bread in the liquid.
Fry it quickly on both sides in bacon drippings.
Put it on a heated platter.
Garnish with bacon strips and a slice of pineapple.
A real treat from the islands.
If you want these for appetizers, make them smaller.
Drop by teaspoons into hot fat.
