Ingredients

 
1 lb. beef
 
1/4 c. soy sauce
 
1 tbsp. vinegar
 
1 clove garlic, chopped
 
1 tsp. brown sugar
 
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
 
1/4 c. celery, cubed
 
1/4 c. water chestnuts
 
1/4 c. diced ham
 
3 bacon strips, browned
 
1 beaten egg
 
3 c. boiled rice
 
1/4 c. green onions
 
1/2 c. peas, drained
 
1 c. pineapple cubes

Directions

Boil or roast beef until done; cut in cubes.
Make a sauce of soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, brown sugar and ginger; pour over meat.
Marinate and simmer 1 hour.
Saute celery andwater chestnuts 3 minutes.
Add ham and diced bacon.
Stir in beaten egg; cook until done.
Add rice, cut green onions and peas.
Just before serving, put pineapple on meat.
When serving, place meat over rice mixture.
