Barbequed Hawaiian Spearribs Recipe

Ingredients
3 to 4 lbs. pork spareribs
4 to 6 cups hot tap water
1 can (13 oz.) pineapple tidbits, drained
1/2 cup minced onion
1/4 cup minced green pepper
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Directions
Cut spareribs into serving size pieces.
Trim off fat.
Place ribs and water in a 3 qt.glass casserole dish.
Cover and microwave on DEFROST for 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes [SIMMER-4, 45 to 60 minutes].
Rearrange ribs once during cooking.
Drain and place ribs in a 13x9x2-inch glass baking dish.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Microwave 10 to 14 minutes, giving dish a 1/2 turn during cooking.
Baste ribs frequently with sauce.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
