Hawaiian Nut Bread Recipe
Ingredients
2 eggs lightly beaten
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup melted shortening
2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup crushed pineapple (do not drain)
Directions
Beat eggs lightly, add the sugar gradually; then the melted shortening.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to first mixture and blend.
Add the chopped nuts and pineapple and stir only to combine.
Bake 1 hour at 350° F.
