Hawaiian Fruit Cake Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup (250 ml) walnuts
2 cups (500 ml) all-purpose flour
2 cups (500 ml) sugar
1 teaspoon (5 ml) baking soda
2 eggs
1 can (20 ounces or 566 g) crushed pineapple
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F
Assemble Blender.
Put walnuts into blender container.
Cover and process 2 cycles at WHIP to chop nuts; set aside.
Assemble Mixer.
In large mixer bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, eggs, pineapple with syrup, and nuts at MEDIUM-LOW until mixed.
Pour into a greased 13x9x2-inch (33*23* 5 cm) baking pan.
Bake in preheated oven 40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on rack.
Frost with Butter Cream Cheese Frosting
