Hash Browns Recipe
This is the way my mummy prepared Hashed Brown Potatoes when I was growing up. And I still love Hashed Brown Potatoes cooked this way. You will like it!
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine
6 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and diced or coarsely shredded
1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Salt
Directions
1. In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot butter or margarine, cook potatoes, covered, 10 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle potatoes with paprika, pepper, and salt to taste.
2. Continue cooking, uncovered 15 minutes, occasionally turning with a pancake turner, until potatoes are tender and brown.
