Microwaved Harvard Beets Recipe
Ingredients
| White distilled vinegar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 can sliced beets; drain and reserve | ||
| 1 cup liquid | ||
Directions
In glass casserole dish, combine all ingredients except drained beets.
Cook on high (9) for 5 minutes or until mixture thickens; stir once during cooking.
Add beets.
Cover; cook on high (9) for 3 minutes or until beets are hot.
