Harvard Beets Recipe
Harvard beets are sweet and savory beets. Cooked with ginger marmalade and vinegar with sugar to taste, the harvard beets, the harvard beets are rich to taste and come out beautifully cooked and are nutritious.
Ingredients
1 can baby beets
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons ginger marmalade
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
Drain beets thoroughly and set aside.
Combine sugar, salt, and cornstarch in top of a double boiler.
Pour in vinegar and cook over direct heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and bubbly.
Add beets, ginger marmalade, and butter.
Place over simmering water for about 30 minutes.
