Harvard Beets Recipe
Ingredients
| Beets, drain, reserve juice 14 oz. | ||
| Granulated Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Beet juice 1/2 cup | ||
| Cider vinegar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Dice beets and set aside.
In small saucepan mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, beet juice and vinegar.
Cook and stir over medium heat until it boils and thickens.
Add beets and heat through.
