Hariso Recipe
Ingredients
| Wheat | 2 Cup (16 tbs), broken | |
| Sugar | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Rose water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 tsp powdered cardamoms and nutmeg | ||
| Salt | 1 Pinch | |
| 2 tbsp ghee or butter | ||
| Blanched almonds | 50 Gram, slivered (Garnish:) | |
| Sultanas | 50 Gram (Garnish:) | |
Directions
Heat ghee or butter in a pan and fry wheat for a minute' or two.
Add water, sugar and milk and continue cooking till it reaches the consistency of a thick custard.
Remove from fire, add rosewater, salt and spices.
Pour into a bowl and sprinkle with garnish ingredients.
Serve with sadhnas.
