HARICOT BEAN AND RICE PIE Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 lb. beans (soaked overnight)
 
1 large onion chopped finely
 
1 tblspn, ground almonds
 
3 tblspn, grated cheese
 
salt, pepper
 
1/2 cup crumbs
 
thyme
 
1/2 cup rice, cooked.

Directions

Cook beans until soft, then mash.
Add all the ingredients, mixing well.
Turn into a pie dish, dot with butter and bake in a hot oven for 3/4 hour.
Serve with green vegetables.
