Hardimont Corn Flitters Recipe
Ingredients
| About 2 cups fresh corn pulp | ||
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Hot fat | ||
| Baking powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 eggs, separated, "beated" | ||
| Salt, pepper to taste | ||
Directions
Cut corn from the cob.
Mix flour, baking powder, and seasoning; add to corn and mix.
Beat egg yolks, add to mixture, then add milk.
Beat the whites stiff; fold in.
Drop by spoonfuls into hot fat (deep or shallow) and fry until golden brown.
