Hard Or Soft Cooked Eggs Recipe
Ingredients
Water
Eggs at room temperature
Directions
1. In a saucepan bring enough water to a rapid boil to cover the eggs to be cooked.
2. Place each egg on a spoon and lower it into the water. Reduce the heat until the water barely simmers and cook the eggs to the desired degree of done-ness. For soft-cooked eggs, leave in the water three to four and one-half minutes. For hard-cooked, leave in the water ten minutes, drain immediately and plunge the eggs into cold water; this causes a jacket of steam to form between the egg and shell to facilitate peeling.
