Happy Pies Recipe
Ingredients

| Flour | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking soda | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Dry cocoa | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Shortening | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Vanilla | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Confectioner’s sugar | 1 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) (Filling:) | |
| Margarine | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Filling:) | |
| 1/2 jar marshmallow crème | ||
Directions
Sift together flour, sugars, baking soda, cocoa and salt into a bowl.
Add shortening, milk and egg; beat.
Add vanilla and mix.
Drop by tablespoons-ful onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated 425-degree oven for 8 minutes.
Remove and cool.
Combine filling ingredients, beating until smooth.
Fill between two cookies, sandwich style.
