Hamburgers on Skewers Recipe
Ingredients
Ground beef - 1 1/2 pounds
Onion - 1 medium, chopped fine
Bread - 2 slices, crumbled
Egg - 1
Worcestershire Sauce - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Tomatoes - 6 small
Green peppers - 2
Directions
MAKING
1) In a mixing bowl, add all ingredients except tomatoes and green peppers.
2) Mix well and shape into 18 small balls. Keep aside.
3) Halve the tomatoes.
4) Remove the stems from the green peppers.
5) Cut 6 large pieces from each green pepper.
6) Skewer the pepper slices, hamburger balls, and tomato halves on 6 skewers.
7) Place over hot coals and broil for about 6 minutes on each side.
SERVING
8) Serve at the side of a mustard dip.
