Hamburgers With Dill Recipe

Ingredients
3 pounds ground round steak
1 1/2 tablespoons freshly chopped dill or 1 1/2 teaspoons dried dill
Salt
6 teaspoons butter
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Worcestershire sauce to taste
Juice of one-half lemon
Tabasco sauce to taste
Buttered toast
Directions
1. Combine the meat lightly with the dill and divide into six equal portions. Shape into flat patties.
2. Heat a heavy skillet over moderate heat eight to ten minutes and sprinkle with a thin, even layer of salt. Sear the meat on both sides, reduce the heat and continue cooking to the desired degree of doneness.
3. Top each patty with a teaspoon butter, sprinkle with pepper and add a few drops of Worcestershire sauce. Sprinkle with lemon juice and a little Tabasco sauce.
