Hamburgers Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 lb. cooked meat, minced | ||
| Onion | 1 , minced | |
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 tablespoon melted butter or bacon fat | ||
| Mustard | 1 Tablespoon, made | |
| Bacon rashers | ||
Directions
Pound all ingredients together, except bacon rashers, shape into rolls and skewer pieces of bacon rasher round each roll.
Cook in a moderately hot oven (400°F - Gas Mark 5) for about 15 minutes.
Serve hot on triangles of thick, fresh buttered bread or halved rolls.
Each burger can be skewered with a pickled onion.
Hot or cold pineapple slices, topped with pepper rings, and a green salad go well with these.
