Ingredients

 
1 tablespoon steak sauce
 
1 teaspoon dry mustard
 
3/4 teaspoon salt
 
1/8 teaspoon pepper
 
1 pound ground beef
 
2 teaspoons butter or margarine
 
1 3-ounce can sliced mushrooms
 
1 tablespoon snipped chives
 
1 tablespoon lemon juice
 
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
 
2 tablespoons brandy

Directions

In bowl combine steak sauce, dry mustard, salt, and pepper.
Add ground beef; mix well.
Shape into four 1/2-inch-thick patties.
In 10-inch skillet melt butter or margarine.
Cook patties in hot butter or margarine over medium-high heat for 3 minutes; turn and cook for 2 to 3 minutes more.
Transfer to heated platter; keep warm.
To skillet add undrained mushrooms, chives, lemon juice, and worcestershire sauce.
Bring to boiling; pour over burgers.
Warm brandy in ladle.
Ignite; carefully pour over burgers.
Serve when flame subsides.
