Hamburger Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Beef | 1 1⁄2 Pound | |
| Onion | 1 Large, chopped | |
| Canned tomatoes | 1 | |
| Beef consommé | 3 Can (30 oz) | |
| Water | 2 Can (20 oz) | |
| Carrots sliced | 8 , sliced | |
| Bay leaf | 1 | |
| Celery | 4 , chopped | |
| Chopped parsley | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Thyme | 1⁄2 Tablespoon | |
| Peppercorns | 10 | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Potato/0.5 cup macaroni | 1 , cut small |
Directions
Brown onion and ground beef in butter.
Add all other ingredients (except potato or macaroni) and simmer an hour or longer.
Chill and lift fat.
Reheat and add potato or macaroni and cook for about 15 minutes.
