Hamburger Pot Pie Recipe
Hamburger Pot Pie has a Luscious taste. The ground beef and oregano gives the Hamburger Pot Pie Magnificent taste.
Ingredients
1 recipe vegetable shortening pastry for 2 crust pie
1 teaspoon onion salt
1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can green beans or 2 cups frozen green beans, thawed
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
Directions
Prepare vegetable shortening pastry as directed except omit the salt and substitute 1 teaspoon onion salt.
Line 9 inch pie plate with pastry.
In skillet, heat vegetable shortening.
Add ground beef and onion; cook just until meat is browned.
Stir in green beans, soup, and seasonings.
Pour meat mixture into pastry.
Place top crust over filling; cut slits for escape of steam.
Seal and flute edge.
Bake at 400° for 25 minutes.
