Hamburger Vegetable Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 cup canned tomatoes
1/2 cup carrots, diced
1/2 cup celery, diced
1 med onion, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup Stone-Buhr pearl barley
1 cup potatoes, cubed
1 1/2 qts. water
Directions
In a saucepan, slowly brown meat over low heat.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer until barley is tender, about 1 hour, or cook in pressure cooker at 15 pounds pressure for about 15 minutes.
