| Ground beef | 1 Pound | |
| Butter/Margarine | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Onion | 1 Large | |
| Paprika | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Rice | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| Corn | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), canned | |
| Green pepper | 1 Large | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) |
Directions
Fry onion in butter slowly until soft; add ground beef and cook until it loses its red color.
Add tomatoes from the can (save the juice), paprika, garlic and corn.
Stir together, then add raw rice.
Cut green pepper in half, removing seeds, and place one half in bottom of the double-boiler top pan.
Pour meat mixture over pepper.
Lay other half of the pepper on top.
Pour reserved tomato juice over all and cover pan.
Put about one inch boiling water in bottom pan, and put top pan over it to cook meat mixture slowly for 3 hours.
