Hamburger Steaks With Pancho Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Salad oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 2 Ib. ground beef chuck | ||
| Eggs | 2 , beaten | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 c. crumbled Roquefort cheese | ||
| Soft butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Brandy | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Saute the onion and garlic in oil in a skillet until onion is tender.
Cool.
Add the beef, eggs, parsley, salt and pepper and mix well.
Shape into 4 balls.
Blend the cheese, butter and brandy in a bowl.
Make a deep hole in each ball and place 1/4 of the cheese mixture in each hole.
Shape beef mixture over cheese mixture to form patties.
Brush with oil and sprinkle with additional salt and pepper.
Place on a broiler pan.
Broil about 5 inches from heat for about 15 minutes for medium-doneness, turning once.
Cool.
