Hamburger Steak With Onions Recipe
Ingredients
| Lean ground beef | 1 1/4 Pound | |
| 1/4 cup cooked chopped onions | ||
| Egg | 1 | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Onions | 2 Medium, sliced | |
| Green peppers | 2 To taste, sliced | |
| Beef Stock | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), heated | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cold water | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Few drops Worcestershire sauce | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
? Place ground beef, cooked chopped onions, egg, parsley and Worcestershire sauce in food processor; blend 2 to 3 minutes. When meat forms ball, remove and shape into 4 patties.
? Heat oil in large frying pan over medium heat. Add patties and cook 8 to 10 minutes, depending on thickness, turning over 2 to 3 times to avoid charring.
? When cooked, remove from pan and set aside, keeping hot.
? Add sliced onions to same frying pan and cook 6 minutes over medium heat. Add peppers and cook another 4 minutes.
? Pour in beef stock, mix well and correct seasoning. Dissolve cornstarch in cold water; stir into sauce until well incorporated.
? Bring to boil, then spoon onion sauce over hamburger steaks and serve.
