Hamburger Rice Skillet Recipe Video
This tasty Mexican dish can be served as main dish.It can be prepared by stir frying.
Ingredients
1 pound ground chuck
1 small onion, chopped
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
1 10 oz. can mild diced tomato and green chilies
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup uncooked long grain rice
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1 cup Mexican cheese blend
Directions
Cook 1st three ingredients in a large skillet over high heat, stirring until beef crumbles and begins to stick to
skillet. Add next 6 ingredients; cook, covered, over medium heat 15 minutes. Add cilantro and continue cooking
10 more minutes until rice is tender. Sprinkle with cheese and cover with lid until cheese melts
