Hamburger Oven Stew Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| Medium onion- 1, chopped | ||
| Whole tomatoes- 1 (16-ounce) can ,undrained | ||
| Whole kernel corn- 1 (16-ounce) can , undrained | ||
| Green beans- 1 (16-ounce) can, cut and undrained | ||
| Beef broth- 1 (10 1/2-ounce) can , undiluted | ||
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Potatoes | 6 Medium, peeled | |
| Cheddar Cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Celery seeds | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground thyme | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Chili powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Buttermilk- 2 (11-ounce) cans, refrigerator biscuits | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Start by preheating the oven to 450 degrees F
MAKING
2. In a Dutch oven, combine ground beef and onion, cook it over medium heat till meat is browned and it crumbles
3. Add next 6 ingredients and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat
4. Now add cheese and seasonings, stir till cheese melts, simmer for 90-100 minutes, till it's dry
5. In a lightly greased 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking dish, pout the mixture and place biscuits on top
6. Finally Bake at 400° for 10 to 13 minutes

7. Serve with salads, cooked vegetables
