8 well ripened fresh figs
 
4 slices cured or cooked ham

Directions

1 Peel the figs and cut them into halves.
2 Roll the slices of ham like ice cream cones and put a fig in each.
3 Arrange the ham rolls in a star pattern on a dish, and arrange the remainder of the opened figs interspersed between them.
