Ham Steak With Parsley Sauce Recipe
This ham steak with parsley sauce is prepared with smoked ham and fresh parsley. Cooked in white wine and mock hollandaise sauce and seasoned to taste, this ham steak with parsley sauce is an absolute stunner. Prepare it for dinner parties and you will have them begging for the recipe!
Ingredients
2 bunches parsley, washed and stems removed
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 center cut smoked ham steak 3/4 inch thick
2/3 cup Mock Hollandaise
Sauce
Salt
Freshly ground white pepper
Directions
Line bottom of a shallow baking dish with half the parsley; drizzle with half the wine.
Lay ham steak on parsley.
Cover ham with remaining parsley; drizzle with remaining wine.
Lightly cover baking dish.
Bake at 325°F about 30 minutes, or until ham is thoroughly heated.
Make Mock Hollandaise Sauce while ham is baking; keep warm.
Place ham on platter; cover lightly with aluminum foil.
Puree cooked parsley in a blender or food processor; stir mixture into mock hollandaise sauce.
Season sauce with salt and pepper.
Heat sauce thoroughly; serve with ham.
