Ham Steak Oriental Recipe
Ingredients
| Chili Sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Soy sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Light corn syrup | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 smoked ham slice, cut 1 in. thick | ||
| 1 green pepper, seeded and cut in 1 in.squares | ||
| 1 banana, sliced diagonally in 1 in.pieces | ||
Directions
Mix chili sauce, soy sauce, corn syrup, and lemon juice together in a bowl.
Place ham slice in a shallow baking dish and pour soy mixture over it.
Let stand at room temperature about 1 hour, spooning the marinade over ham occasionally.
Top ham slice with green pepper squares and spoon the sauce evenly over all.
Bake at 325°F about 25 minutes, basting occasionally.
Add banana chunks and baste again.
Bake 5 minutes longer.
Remove ham from dish and cut into serving-sized portions.
Serve topped with green pepper, banana, and sauce.
