Ham Soup Recipe
Ingredients
Ham end- 2 or 3 pounds
Carrot- 1
Onion- 1
Potatoes- 2
Water- 3 quarts, boiling
Split peas- 1 cup
Salt and pepper- to taste
Catsup- 2 tablespoons
Directions
MAKING
1.In a kettle, put the smoked ham along with carrot and peeled onion, potatoes, and boiling water
2.Now boil it for 1 hour, then take it out and strain it
3.In hot water, rinse the ham thoroughly, now place the ham in the strained stock along with split peas, and again boil for 1 hour
4.Season with salt and white pepper and add catsup
SERVING
5.Serve with garlic bread, salads
