2 c. ground ham
 
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
 
3/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
 
2/3 c. milk
 
1 egg
 
2 tbsp. butter
 
1 tbsp. shortening
 
1/4 c. water
 
2 tbsp. ham drippings
 
1 c. dairy sour cream
 
1/4 tsp. marjoram
 
1 tsp. dill seed
 
2 tbsp. flour
 
1 tbsp. sugar
 
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

Blend ham, mustard, crumbs, milk and egg.
Form into 1 1/2 inch balls; brown in butter and shortening.
Add water.
Cover; cook over low heat 15 minutes.
Combine remaining ingredients; cook until thick.
Serve with ham balls.
