Ham And Eggs Recipe
Ingredients
4 slices boned and rolled ready to serve ham, 1/4 inch thick
2 tbsp butter
4 eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
Freshly-ground/coarse cracked pepper
Directions
Trim some of fat from ham slices.
Heat large heavy skillet and add trimmings to pan, letting them fry until pan is well greased.
Lift out and discard pieces of fat.
Add ham slices to greased pan and cook slowly until lightly browned on both sides.
Lift out onto hot platter and keep hot.
Add butter to drippings in pan, add eggs and fry lightly.
Lift out and put on same platter with ham.
Add cream to drippings in pan and heat gently, stirring up all browned bits from bottom of pan.
Add a generous sprinkling of pepper.
Pour over eggs and serve.
