Ham And Cabbage Soup Recipe

Ingredients
1 pound ham with bone
1 pound celery cabbage
8 cups water
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan, add the ham with the bone, turn down the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
Cut the celery cabbage into quarters and into 1 inch slices.
Add to the soup, and season with soy sauce and salt.
Bring to a boil and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Remove the ham and discard the bone.
Cube the meat and return to the soup.
Simmer for another 2 minutes and then serve very hot in a deep bowl.
