Ham Wrapped Oysters Recipe
These ham wrapped oysters makes for a fabulous party appetizer. Prepared with shucked oysters, wrapped in ham strips and secured with picks, they are broiled with a lemon juice and butter mix, flavored with garlic. Cooked to doneness, they can be served on lettuce lined plates.
Ingredients
| Prepared horseradish | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 1/2 pound ham, cut into 3 X1X 1/4 inch strips | ||
| Oysters | 2 Dozen, shucked | |
| Butter/Margarine | 3 Tablespoon, melted | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Spread horseradish on 1 side of each ham strip.
Place 1 oyster on each ham strip; roll up and secure with wooden pick.
Arrange on broiler pan.
Combine butter, lemon juice and garlic powder in small cup.
Brush each ham roll with some of the lemon butter.
Broil, 5 inches from heat, 10 to 15 minutes or until edges of oysters curl, brushing occasionally with the remaining lemon butter.
