Ham With Red-Eye Gravy Recipe
Ingredients
6(1/4 inch thick) slices country ham
1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup strong black coffee
Directions
Saute ham in margarine over low heat until light brown, turning several times.
Remove ham from skillet, cover with foil to keep warm.
Stir sugar into pan drippings and heat until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly.
Add coffee and simmer 5 minutes.
Season gravy to taste.
