Ham Turnover Recipe
My children cant wait for this Friday because I have told them that I will be preparing their all time favorite Ham Turnovers that day. The Ham Turnover is a unique and incomparable meat pastry that I have been preparing at home for ages. I even pack them and send them across to friends and relatives. The Ham Turnover is just yummy. You cant miss it!
Ingredients
10 oz (284 ml) canned cream of mushroom soup
1/2 Cup (125 ml) milk
1 tbsp (15 ml) butter
1 chopped onion
1/4 Cup (60 ml) green bell pepper, slivered
3 Cups (750 ml) ground ham
Salt and pepper
Short pastry or puff pastry
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
MAKING
2. In a bowl with dilute cream of mushroom soup add milk.
3. Dilute the soup and keep aside.
4. Take a skillet, add butter and melt it.
5. Add onions along with slivered green bell pepper and saute them.
6. Add diluted soup followed by ham. Stir well.
7. Add salt and pepper to taste and keep aside.
8. Place the pastry on a floured floor and roll out into 8 inch x 12 inch oval.
9. Using a spoon, add ham mixture to pastry shell.
10. Using hands, fold mixture like a hemisphere.
11. Seal the edges.
12. Place in the oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

13. Slice and serve with chili sauce.
