Ham Sauced Sweet Potatoes Recipe
Ham sauced sweet potatoes is a fruity and meaty sweet potato recipe. Prepared with ham strips and orange juice and peel for flavor, the ham sauced sweet potatoes are microwaved to cook and served with sauce served over the split potatoes.
Ingredients
3 sweet potatoes (about 8 ounces each)
1 can (103/4 ounces) Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup
1 cup cooked ham cut into thin strips
1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
1/3 cup orange juice
1/4 cup raisins
Directions
Pierce potatoes with fork in several places; arrange in circular pattern on microwave-safe plate.
Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH 8 minutes or until tender, rearranging potatoes once during cooking.
Let stand, uncovered, while preparing sauce.
In.medium microwave-safe bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
Cover with vented plastic wrap; microwave on HIGH 4 minutes or until hot, stirring once during cooking.
Split potatoes; spoon sauce over each.
