 3/4 pound ground fully cooked ham
 Ground pork1/2 pound
 Brown sugar1 Tablespoon
 Cornstarch2 Teaspoon
 Dry mustard1/4 Teaspoon
 Dash ground cloves
 Applesauce3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Vinegar1 Tablespoon
 1 medium apple, cored and sliced into 6 rings

Directions

In mixing bowl combine beaten eggs, the 1/2 cup applesauce, and the bread crumbs; stir in nonfat dry milk powder, chopped onion, 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard, and the salt.
Add ground ham and ground pork; mix well.
Shape meat mixture into 6 patties; place in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Bake in a 350° oven for 40 to 45 minutes or till the ham patties are done.
Meanwhile, prepare sauce.
In saucepan combine brown sugar, cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard, and the cloves.
Stir in the 3/4 cup applesauce and the vinegar.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly
Add apple rings; cover and simmer about 15 minutes or till apple rings are just tender.
To serve, arrange an apple ring atop each patty.
Spoon sauce over.
Garnish with pars ley, if desired
