Ham Line Up Loaf Recipe
Ham line up loaf is a deviled ham sandwich prepared with an an entire loaf. Easily put together with tomato slices and pickle relish, the ham line up loaf is cooked on the grill wrapped in a foil.
Ingredients
| 3 2 1/4 ounce cans deviled ham | ||
| 1/4 cup pickle relish | ||
| French bread loaf | 1 | |
| Soft butter or margarine | ||
| Tomato slices | ||
Directions
Combine ham and pickle relish.
Cut loaf in 1/2 inch slices, almost to bottom crust.
Spread with butter and ham mixture between every other slice.
Wrap in foil; heat in hot oven (450°) 25 minutes, or on edge of grill till warm through.
Fold foil back; tuck tomato slices in with the ham filling. (Or, to match picture, put the tomato slices between the unfilled bread slices€”then each sandwich has a tomato topper.)
Let folks break off their own servings.
