Ham Egg Salad Ribbon Recipe
First of all let me thank my neighbor for sharing this excellent Ham Egg Salad Ribbon recipe. I tried this recipe for Ham Egg Salad Ribbon the other day and was totally bowled over. Ingredients
1 unsliced loaf white sandwich bread
Butter or margarine, softened
Ham Filling
Egg Filling
3 3-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup light cream
Directions
Trim crusts from loaf; cut in 4 equal lengthwise slices.
Spread butter on one side of three slices.
Spread remaining unbuttered slice with half the Ham Filling; top with second slice, buttered side down.
Spread Egg Filling atop second slice; top with third slice, buttered side down.
Spread remaining Ham Filling atop third slice; top with remaining bread slice, buttered side down.
Wrap loaf in foil, clear plastic wrap, or waxed paper; chill several hours.
Meanwhile, beat cream cheese till smooth.
Gradually add cream and beat till fluffy; frost loaf.
Sprinkle with snipped parsley, if desired.
Cover; chill 1 hour longer
