Ham Corn Bread Pie Recipe
Ingredients
2 Tbs. Fleischmann's Margarine
1 cup onion slices
1 large clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/2 cup Planters Cocktail Peanuts, chopped
Generous dash pepper
1 10-oz. package corn bread mix
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 lb. sliced boiled ham
3 slices pasteurized processed American cheese, cut in half
2 pimiento-stuffed olives, sliced
Directions
Melt Fleishmann's Margarine in a large skillet.
Add onions, garlic and chili powder.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until onions are tender.
Remove from heat, stir in Planters Cocktail Peanuts and pepper.
Prepare corn bread mix according to package directions, using egg and milk.
Spread on bottom of 12-inch pizza pan.
Arrange ham on corn bread; top with onion mixture.
Bake in hot oven (425°F.) 10 minutes.
Top with cheese.
Bake 5 minutes longer, or until cheese is melted.
Garnish with olive slices.
