Ham, Cheese And Potato Bake Recipe
Ingredients
| Potatoes | 1 Kilogram, thinly sliced | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Ham | 125 Gram, chopped | |
| Low fat cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Ground nutmeg | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Chicken stock | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Margarine | 30 Gram | |
| Mixed herbs | 1 Tablespoon, chopped |
Directions
Preheat oven to 1 80°C (350°F).
Place a layer of potatoes on the base of a lightly greased casserole dish.
Sprinkle with garlic.
Continue layering with ham, half the cheese and remaining potato, sprinkling with nutmeg and pepper between each layer.
Finish with a potato layer.
Pour over stock.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Dot with margarine.
Bake for a further 20 minutes or until golden.
