Ham And Rice Dinner Recipe
Ingredients
| Cooking oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 stalks celery, bias sliced | ||
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| 1 9-ounce package frozen cut green beans | ||
| Long grain rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 16-ounce can tomatoes, cut up | ||
| Chicken broth | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dried thyme | 1 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Dash bottled hot pepper sauce | ||
| 1 1 1/2-pound fully cooked ham slice, cut into 6 portions | ||
Directions
Heat wok over high heat; add oil.
Stir-fry celery and onion about 3 minutes or till tender.
Stir in beans and rice.
Add undrained tomatoes, chicken broth, thyme, and hot pepper sauce; mix well.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Arrange ham portions atop rice mixture.
Cover and continue cooking about 10 minutes longer or till rice is tender and ham is heated through.
