Ham And Mac Bake Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 6-ounce package elbow macaroni | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Prepared mustard | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| 2 cups reconstituted nonfat dry milk | ||
| Brown sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 cups cubed, fully cooked ham | ||
| Apples | 2 Medium, thinly sliced | |
| Soft bread crumbs | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Margarine | 2 Tablespoon, melted | |
Directions
Cook macaroni in boiling, salted water till tender, 8 to 10 minutes; drain.
In large saucepan melt 1/4 cup margarine; blend in flour, mustard, salt, and pepper.
Add milk all at once.
Stir in sugar.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Stir in macaroni, ham, and apple.
Turn into 2-quart casserole.
Combine crumbs and melted margarine; sprinkle over casserole.
Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
